Through over a decade of university teaching experience, I deeply understand the crucial mission of secondary education: to cultivate students into individuals with "autonomous learning awareness" and "autonomous learning ability," and to provide them with proper planning for further education and career development, enabling them to be individuals with choices. The characteristic of international curricula lies in holistic development—allowing students to understand themselves, not just become exam machines; while simultaneously experiencing firsthand the importance of social development, moral ethics, interpersonal skills, rules and regulations, as well as mental and physical health. These qualities will continuously nourish their future life experiences, enabling them to face setbacks with resilience and courage, ultimately becoming pillars of society.

"Localization" is the most important aspect of international education. Hong Kong has a long history and unparalleled advantages in this regard, but how can it go further? The answer is: from adaptation to co-creation. Building upon existing advantages, we will upgrade to an integrated education system based in Hong Kong and oriented towards the nation and the world. Ultimately, we hope that students will: inherit cultural confidence, broaden their horizons, and achieve holistic development that is both standardized and scientific, while also fostering national harmony, thereby reaping a rich and fulfilling life.
