Vice Principal’s message

Hong Kong is the Pearl of the Orient, and Bauhinia is the jeweled crown upon that pearl. The students of the college are in the prime of their lives. Talented people emerge in every generation, and heroes have always risen from among the young. Therefore, the great leader Chairman Mao said: "You young people are full of vigor, like the sun at eight or nine in the morning. Hope is placed on you."

Young people should have lofty ambitions. The Tang Dynasty poet Li He said: "The rooster crows, and the world turns white; a young man's ambition should reach for the clouds." In modern times, Liang Qichao wrote: "The future is as vast as the sea, and the days ahead are long." How magnificent are the youth of China, boundless as the nation!

Sun Yat-sen, who studied at a secondary school and medicine in Hong Kong, uttered the most powerful voice of the era in his youth: "Revitalize China!"

Bluebell students should possess the six qualities proposed by Chen Duxiu: independent rather than enslaved, progressive rather than conservative, enterprising rather than retiring, global rather than closed-minded, pragmatic rather than idealistic, and scientific rather than imaginative.

Prospering Hong Kong, revitalizing China, serving humanity, and cultivating a global perspective through international courses – are you ready, Bluebell students?

Mr. Raheel — Vice Principal (Administration)

Vice Principal’s message

Given the opportunity to represent the school and further develop as a teacher has been an honour that exceeded my expectations. The leadership and culture here allowed me to experiment in multiple ways to develop internally and to optimise my teaching potential.

HKBC fosters such an approach that seeps into the personality of the students giving them both a theoretical and practical picture of life. As a teacher with over a decade of teaching and business experience this is exactly how HKBC is helping to cultivate business leaders pragmatically and practically. We work together with parents in order to develop and nurture an all inclusive environment for future globally conscious life long learners of tomorrow.
